Disk-Light
With LED-Technology the light source is reduced to a flat 2-dimensional surface. The goal in this project was to use this possibility but turn it around and create an optical illusion of a 3-dimensional volume. An LED-strip is placed in an extruded aluminium profile, the light is reflected by a flat metal disk, but Light appears like a solid volume.
